McDowell County sheriff’s deputies need the public’s help pinpointing a suspect that set fire to a Marion home on Sunday, July 9.
Pat Connor, who lives with his wife, Judy, at 239 Stroud St., reported that he took his dogs outside Sunday afternoon and came back to find smoke rolling out a front window. After some searching, he discovered his basement door on fire. He was able to extinguish the blaze.
The crime occurred sometime between 3 and 3:30 p.m. on Sunday, July 9.
