A Marion man was arrested and charged with exposing himself to women on the greenway, authorities said Tuesday.

Officer Austin Brooks of the Marion Police Department charged David Andrew Honeycutt, 26, of Marion, with indecent exposure.

On Tuesday evening, Marion P.D. officers responded to the city greenway after receiving calls about a man in his mid-20s exposing himself to walkers along the route.

According to Lt. Rusty Jenkins of the Marion Police Department, the two females who reported the incident were walking the greenway when the suspect, Honeycutt, who was standing knee deep in the water, observed them on their path and exposed his privates.

Honeycutt was located and arrested some time later. He was issued a $1,000 bond.
