Bring your kids for some food, fun and inflatables this weekend as McDowell County Rescue Squad hosts their seventh annual Kids Day starting at 9 a.m. on Saturday.

According to Station 97, who is hosting the event, Kids Day will be event free of charge to all who attend, with games, prizes, hot dogs, snow cones, cotton candy, an inflatable bounce house and water slide, a dunking booth and more. The event will also have a karate demonstration at 11 a.m. and 1 p.m.

A new addition added this year includes a painting table for kids to paint rocks.

Fire trucks and rescue vehicles will be on display, according to McDowell Rescue Squad. WINGS medical helicopter will also be available pending weather and emergency situations.
