A Marion man was arrested and charged with breaking into a hotel room and resisting arrest, according to reports.
Officer Nathaniel Greene of the Marion Police Department charged Joshua Lane Wilson, 32, of Old U.S. 221 South in Marion with breaking or entering, injury to real property and resisting a public officer.
On Feb. 7 at 7:59 a.m., units responded to the Sportsman’s Inn on U.S. 221 Business North to a report of a breaking and entering. According to arrest reports, officers arrived on scene and learned that Wilson had allegedly broken into a room on the complex, causing $100 worth of damage to a wooden door. He was additionally served with outstanding warrants for his arrest.
Wilson received a $30,000 bond.
