A Marion man was arrested and charged in December after police found meth, pot and pills during a suspicious person call, according to reports.

Officer Robert Walker of the Marion Police Department charged William Kyle Lytle, 27, of Owl Hollow Road in Marion with possession of methamphetamine, possession of a schedule IV controlled substance, possession of marijuana and two counts of failure to appear.

On Friday, Dec. 8, Marion police officers responded to Pilot Travel Center on Sugar Hill Road in regards to a suspicious person call.

The person in question, Lytle, was found with 0.52 grams of meth, 2.4 grams of pot and 8.5 dosage units of Xanax.

Lyle was also served with outstanding warrants from Rutherford and McDowell.

Lytle’s bond was set at $42,500. His next appearance in McDowell District Court is Jan. 3.
