A Marion woman was charged by police after being in possession of a stolen firearm during a domestic call, according to reports.

Officer Austin Brooks of the Marion Police Department charged Tisha Renee Sanders, 30, of Park Avenue in Marion with possession of a stolen firearm.

At approximately 7:45 a.m. on May 9, Marion officers responded to 154 Park Avenue in reference to a domestic disturbance. While the scene was under investigation, the suspect, Sanders, was found in possession of a Glock 43 pistol, listed as the property of David Poteat and valued at $450.

Sanders received a $10,000 bond.
