Sheriff's Office searches for debit card thief

Investigators with the McDowell County Sheriff’s Office need the public’s help identifying this man, believed to have used a stolen debit card.

Mindy Parsons, of Morganton, reported on Saturday, Oct. 28 that someone stole her debit card while she was at work at Baxter Healthcare the day before.

Later that Friday, the card was used to makes purchases totaling $72.38 at Love’s truck stop.

This man, believed to be the person who passed the card, was caught on surveillance video at Love’s.
