No one was injured in a three-vehicle wreck involving a school bus in Old Fort this morning.

At approximately 6:25 a.m., units responded to a double rear-end collision on Main Street in front of Thompson Street in Old Fort.

Old Fort Fire Department, McDowell EMS, McDowell Rescue Squad, Emergency Management and the Old Fort Police Department responded to the call.

According to Chief Melvin Lytle Jr. of Old Fort P.D., two of the vehicles, a school bus and a pickup truck, were stationary at a stop light on Main Street when a passenger vehicle came from behind and rear ended the truck, which subsequently rear ended the bus. Early reports indicated that there were no passengers on the bus at the time of the incident.

Lytle also confirmed that no injuries were reported.
