A Nebo teen has been charged with allegedly breaking into a home and stealing more than $1,000 worth of property.

Det. Billie Brown of the McDowell County Sheriff’s Office charged Tyler Scott Breech, 17, of Twin Oaks Road in Nebo, with one felony count each of breaking and entering and larceny.

On Jan. 15, Randy Lee Myers, of South Creek Road in Nebo, reported that someone entered his residence and stole a computer, a TV, and a video game controller and game with a total value of $1,400, and caused $350 worth of damage to a door.

Brown said an investigation led to Breech and 37-year-old Damion Lee Gonzalez, of Rolands Chapel Road in Nebo, who was previously charged.

Some of the property was recovered.
