Following the recent loss of their daughter, parents Leslie and Jason Bright are hoping the community can help them find their lost cellphone, which contains photos of the little girl.

On Friday, Dec. 15, the Brights were getting gas at Murphy’s on Sugar Hill Road around 10:45 p.m. when Jason put his phone down on one of the gas pumps, turned around and forgot it. About an hour later, he noticed his phone went missing and began to call it.

“He started calling it and it had been turned off,” said Leslie. “He went back to the gas station to see if it had been turned in and no one had seen it.”

The Marion Police Department posted on Facebook two surveillance pictures of a possible suspect and vehicle involved in the missing phone. The Brights said the phone had pictures, videos and memories of Hannah that cannot be replaced or retrieved.

“The memories are the most important thing on the phone. A phone can be replaced but what is on it cannot be,” said Leslie.

If you have any information involving the persons on surveillance video from Murphy’s, contact the Marion Police Department at 652-5205, or McDowell County Crime Stoppers at 65-CRIME (652-7463).
