Linda Kistler Willis, 61, of Morganton, passed away Saturday, Dec. 23, 2017, at Burke Hospice and Palliative Care following a period of declining health.
Born in Marion, March 19, 1956, Linda was the daughter of John Kistler and Eileen Majors Kistler. She was a homemaker and was a blessing to her husband and children. Her grandchildren looked at her as an "Other Momma" in the truest sense of the word. A faithful member of West Court Baptist Church, Linda served her Lord there as a Sunday school teacher and was an inspiration to all who knew her because she lived her faith. She was much loved and will be deeply missed.
Linda leaves behind her husband of 40 years, Rodger Willis; three children, Tabitha Boyce and husband, Robert of Boiling Springs, Amanda Robinson of Morganton, and Aaron Willis of Morganton; six grandchildren, Brandon Boyce, Brittany Cook, Bradley Boyce, Dorian Boyce James Robinson II, and Rian Cavenaugh; eight great-grandchildren; and her dear brother-in-Law, Guy Willis.
A service in celebration of her home going will be held Wednesday, Dec. 27, at 2 p.m., at West Court Baptist Church, with the Rev. Ross Lewis officiating.
The family will be available to receive friends from 1 to 2 p.m., prior to the service at the church. Burial will follow in the West Court Cemetery.
