The McDowell Lady Titans’ 53-47 loss to the Freedom Patriots Tuesday came down to simple physics: Bigger, taller players generally have an advantage over smaller ones.

The McDowell Titan wrestling team continued to hold its own in the Northwestern 3A/4A Conference, beating West Caldwell 45-26 Friday. The Titans also tacked on a 52-24 non-conference dual win over Hibriten to complete the season sweep of the three Caldwell County teams.
