A Forest City man was arrested and charged after Rutherford County officials located at least 163 grams of meth and $3,900 in possible counterfeit bills during a warrant search, according to reports.

The Rutherford County Sheriff’s Office charged Bruce Wayne Givens Jr. of Forest City with trafficking methamphetamine, maintaining a dwelling place for a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.

On Tuesday, the Rutherford County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Unit and Rutherford County Interdiction Team executed a search warrant at 576 Island Ford Road Forest City, N.C. Givens was the target of this investigation.

During the execution of this search warrant, approximately 163 grams (or 5.75 ounces) of meth, drug paraphernalia and possibly 39 counterfeit 100 dollar bills were found.

Givens received a $100,000.00 secured bond. The suspected counterfeit 100 dollar bills are currently under investigation by the Secret Service.
