He served 34 years, including deployments to Honduras, Panama, Desert Shield, Desert Storm, Somalia and Bosnia, during active military operations which resulted in numerous commendations. He also was an honor graduate of the primary NCO Academy and attended the Air Command and Staff College. Barry began his service with the U.S. Army in 1973 and served the Army National Guard, U.S. Air Force National Guard, U.S. Public Health Service/JPATS and VA Hospitals in Syracuse and Phoenix until 2015. It is an honor to recognize this fine patriot and veteran.
