A woman wanted on multiple drug offenses is no longer on the run.
Detective Robert Watson charged Dawn Renee Evans, 50, address listed as Oak Crest Drive in Marion, with possession of synthetic cannabinoid, possession of methamphetamine, possession with intent to sell and deliver methamphetamine, driving while license revoked, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of marijuana.
On Dec. 31, 2019, Watson stopped a vehicle at the intersection of Old Greenlee and Henry McCall roads because the driver, Evans, had a suspended license.
Authorities searched the automobile and seized 1.17 grams of methamphetamine, 3.5 grams of marijuana and a vape pen containing THC.
After further investigation, charges were filed against Evans.
Watson had been unable to locate the suspect. She was arrested at her residence Thursday afternoon, Feb. 20.
Evans got a written promise to appear in court.
