A Marion man faces drug and gun charges, authorities said on Thursday.
Detective Jesse Hicks of the McDowell County Sheriff’s Office charged Kyle Aaron Hollifield, 26, address listed as Plywood Sales Drive in Marion, with trafficking in methamphetamine, possession with intent to sell and deliver methamphetamine, possession of methamphetamine and possession of a firearm by a felon.
On the afternoon of Friday, Feb. 7, detectives went to a location on Wheeler Drive in Nebo in search of stolen property. They found Hollifield at the residence and knew he had several outstanding warrants for failure to appear.
Hicks searched Hollifield as he was taking him into custody and located a handgun and 174 grams of methamphetamine.
Hollifield got a $75,000 bond.
