Brother Wolf McDowell County Chapter is once again hosting its annual PuppyGrams fundraiser for Valentine’s Day and you still have time to book yours.
Valentine’s Day PuppyGrams are the perfect choice to give to anyone who needs some puppy love without the lifetime commitment. If you have a child, friend, or relative who loves puppies and cupcakes, then look no further than a PuppyGram, according to a news release.
This is how it works: a Brother Wolf volunteer will surprise the recipient at their home, office, or school (with permission) with a Carolina Baking Co. cupcake and flower or giftbag, delivered by an adorable rescue puppy. PuppyGrams include 15 minutes of puppy cuddle and playtime to give the lucky recipient the dose of love they need on Valentine's Day.
PuppyGrams start at only $15 for individual visits in McDowell County. Classroom and group rates are available, and out-of-county PuppyGrams can be booked for a nominal extra fee. All funds raised from PuppyGrams go to help the animals at Brother Wolf McDowell, according to the news release.
Brother Wolf Animal Rescue was founded in Asheville in 2007 to provide the resources and life-saving programs to build a no-kill community. As a grassroots organization, Brother Wolf believes strongly in community engagement and making it easy to adopt, volunteer and become involved in its no-kill mission. McDowell County is the newest Brother Wolf Chapter, founded in 2016, and is dedicated to eliminating the euthanasia and suffering of animals in one of the highest-kill counties in western North Carolina, according to the news release.
