McDowell County sheriff’s deputies continue their search for the robbers who held up a convenience store on the afternoon of Friday, Oct. 25.

A cash reward is being offered for information that leads to the suspects.

Shortly before 4 p.m. on Friday, a masked man brandished a handgun inside of Samir’s Quick Stop on U.S. 70 East in Nebo and demanded money from the clerk. He was described as a white male wearing gray sweatpants, a black long-sleeve shirt, a bandana and a black mask and has a tattoo on the left side of his neck, according to a news release.

The robber and a white male getaway driver fled the area in a silver vehicle.
