McDowell Early College (MEC) will graduate 51 students from the Class of 2019 tonight.

The ceremony will take place tonight at 7 p.m. at East McDowell School. The guest speaker is Jessica Sutton, former MEC teacher who currently works at McDowell Academy of Innovation.

Of the 51 graduates, 94% will receive completed associate’s degrees through McDowell Technical Community College this year. They have earned over 2,970 hours of college credits and logged over 7,650 hours of community service.
