McDowell’s finest invite you to drop in and see the vehicles and equipment they use to save lives and ensure public safety.

In celebration of National EMS Week, an Emergency Services Expo will be held this Friday night in the parking lot of Peebles at 364 U.S. 70 East in Marion from 6-8 p.m. Agencies from across McDowell have been invited to display vehicles and equipment. MAMA, Mission Health’s emergency helicopter, is scheduled to land at Peebles during the event.

“This is a great opportunity for emergency personnel to interact with families and children in a relaxed setting,” said McDowell Emergency Services Director William Kehler. “Kids really enjoy looking at the emergency vehicles, sitting in the fire trucks and ambulances, while also getting to meet emergency personnel.”
