McDowell County Sheriff’s Office investigators need the public’s help locating $90,000 worth of heavy equipment stolen from a local business and the person that took the machinery.
It was reported on Monday, Nov. 25 that someone entered the property of Bac Trac Technologies, on U.S. 221 South, and removed a 2008 Schutt military generator and environmental control unit trailer, a 2008 Hanco 25kVA 20kW generator with a Perkins diesel engine and a 2008 Applied Companies environmental control unit. The three pieces of heavy equipment have an estimated total value of $90,000, according to a news release.
The theft occurred sometime between 7:30 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 22 and 5 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 24.
