A Marion woman was arrested and charged after police and probation officers located two grams of meth in her home during a warrantless search, authorities said Thursday.

Lt. Chris Taylor of the McDowell County Sheriff’s Office charged Sandra McKinney Capps, 63, address listed as Fairview Park Lane in Marion, with possession of methamphetamine and maintaining a dwelling to keep a controlled substance.

She is also charged with probation violations.

On Thursday, April 18, Taylor and officers with Marion Police Department assisted state probation and parole officers with a search of Capps’ residence. She is on probation and subject to warrantless searches.

Authorities located approximately 2 grams of methamphetamine.

Capps’ bond was set at $25,000.
