A Marion man was arrested and charged after deputies and probation officers located over two grams of meth at his home during a search, authorities said Tuesday.

Deputy Robert Watson of the McDowell County Sheriff’s Office charged Mark Henry Jones, 46, address listed as Troy Terrace in Marion, with possession of methamphetamine.

On Sunday, March 10, Watson aided state probation and parole officers with a search of Jones’ residence, which turned up 2.72 grams of methamphetamine.

As part of his probation, Jones is subject to warrantless searches.

Jones’s bond was set at $10,000.
