Mandy Mildred Adkins, 65, of Erwin, Tenn., passed away Wednesday, Dec. 5, 2018, at her home.
A native of Kingsport, Tenn., Mandy is the daughter of the late Jim and Alberta (Coleman) Lawson. She was of the Christian faith and attended church in Erwin. Mandy enjoyed quilting and soap making and she loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Those left to cherish her memory are her children, Angila Condrey and husband, Jonas, Perry Clayton, and Molly Lunsford and husband, Jeremy; grandchildren, Emma Condrey Shelton, Adam Condrey, Anna Grace Condrey, Nathan Desarro, William Noah Clayton,Caylin Lunsford, Abel Lunsford, and McCoy Clayton; two great-grandchildren; her brother, Larry Lawson; her sisters, Patsy Horton, Loretta Booker, and Betty Ann Salyers.
The family respectfully requests the honor of your presence as we offer tribute and remember the life of Mandy Mildred Adkins in a memorial service to be held at 12 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 8, in the chapel of Valley Funeral Home. Bishop John Edwards will officiate.
A visitation period to share memories and offer support to the family will begin at 11 a.m., and will continue until service time Saturday, Dec. 8, at Valley Funeral Home. A committal service will be held at a later date.
