Jerry Wren Sisk, 72, of Marion, passed away Thursday, Aug. 9, 2018.

Jerry was a dedicated, loving and compassionate husband and father. He was a U.S. Army veteran awarded the Bronze Star for his service in Vietnam. He spent his life working as an electrical engineer for Coats American after closing the family business, Sisk Electric, where he had worked from age 10 in the 1980s, to bring his family back to Marion. "Jerry Man" was born in Marion, May 9, 1946, to Lyndon and Anna Sisk.

Jerry is survived by his wife, Lee Hudson Sisk; son, Scott Wallace Sisk (Katherine); and daughter, Jenni Wren Frye (Ryan). He has six grandkids, Robert, Charles, Anna, Connor, Cailin and Morgan. The family will hold a celebration of life at St. John's Episcopal Church in Marion at 3 p.m., today (Sunday, Aug. 12).

A reception will be held in the Parrish House immediately following the Service.

Jerry was a fine individual as well as a good engineer. His quiet, friendly presence and caring nature, will truly be missed.
