Mrs. Frankie Davis Styles, 85, of Marion, passed away peacefully Friday, Aug. 11, 2017, at Hospice House of Rutherford County in Forest City following several years of declining health.

Frankie was born in Marion, Sept. 17, 1931, to the late Clyde and Virginia Carrigan Davis. She was a member of Zion Hill Baptist Church and was retired from the American Thread Plant where she worked in data processing. Among her many interests, she particularly enjoyed reading and working crossword puzzles.

Frankie leaves behind her beloved husband of 65 years, Dee Styles of the home; a brother, J.B. Davis and wife, Lola of Glenwood; a sister, Mildred Seagle and husband, Clarence of the Cross Mill community; and a number of nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends at Zion Hill Baptist Church, Monday, Aug. 14, between the hours of 10 and 11 a.m. Funeral services will follow at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Dr. Tom Walker and Mr. Paul Baker presiding. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
